Look for ways to conserve water that can both, save you money and conserve water for our future generations. You don’t have to search very long on the Internet before you find multiple ways or multiple products for any given application that advertise saving money and/or conservation of water. There are links on most every page that pops up on your screen that advertise water conservation. Look around!

There are water conservation products for almost every application that uses water. Whether it be products that recycle water or products that just help use less water to do the job that is being done, there are many. Look around!

Look at all of the ways we waste the most precious thing in the world. The key substance to sustaining LIFE on this planet! What do scientists look for on planets or stars to help them find life? Yes…. It is Water. Scientists recently found evidence of water on Mars. This discovery led them to believe that life could have existed on Mars many thousands or millions of years ago (might still be... I saw a guy the other day... whew... must have been from another planet). Scientists KNOW that LIFE cannot be sustained without water.

Think before you drink is not just for Alcohol anymore!! No… go ahead and drink all the water you want. The point is, just be mindful of the ways you can save water or conserve water. Don’t let the water run in the sink while you shave or wash dishes. Don’t let your water sprinklers or irrigation systems run so long that water is running down the sidewalk or street. Don’t water the concrete! It might cool it down but, it will NEVER make it prettier or GROW. ;-))

Here’s one I found. Cyber-rain. A “smart controller” for irrigation (sprinkler) systems that can be controlled wirelessly from you home computer. You can set schedules, have it run its cycle with respect to weather reports, etc. It can save you form 30% to 70% of the water you normally use to irrigate your landscapes and lawns. It is reasonably priced and available from your local Irrigation Supply Distributor or your local Irrigation System Provider. While it may cost about three times the cost of a BASIC sprinkler system controller, it will pay back its cost in just a few months through its water savings.

In places like Nevada, where water conservation is mandated by new laws, these types of controllers may become mandated by the State Government on all new systems. They might even pay a good portion of the cost to have an older system retrofitted with a smart controller. Even if the Government does not mandate these ultra-modern and ultra-efficient controllers, the cost associated with water savings alone will pay for it. Not to mention, you’ll be doing your children and their children (and mine) a huge favor by saving ANY water you can.

The people of the world MUST try to use these water conservation products to save the world’s fresh water supplies for our future generations.
